Medical instruments require very high reliability, while general electronic devices rarely have such high reliability requirements. Medical instruments can be used to measure a patient's temperature, monitor blood pressure, or draw an electrocardiogram. No errors are allowed in these operations. The connectors available in the general market can not provide the necessary performance for a solid and reliable connection. There are more or less problems, such as high failure rate, loss of key data, frequent maintenance and expensive prices, which make the owners of medical equipment frustrated. Most importantly, when life and death will depend on the data collected by the instrument, the reliability of the medical instrument is vital to the patient's life and death.
